An Effective Call To Action Can Increase Sales!

Marketing research has shown that a 'Call To Action' increases conversions from visitor to customer.

It makes sense if you look at it this way.

Imagine you meet someone that you are romantically attracted to. You can polish your image until you're the perfect partner but you are NOT going to get a date unless one of the two of you ask for one.

Simply put NO 'Call To Action' means NO 1st date!

It's true you may be able to polish yourself up so much that the person you are attracted to asks you for a date (and how cool is that guys!).

But if this is your main and only strategy you may wake up one day getting invited to a wedding that you did not want to attend as a guest!

 

Public Speaking 101

If the '101 of public speaking/presentations' is:

  1. Tell them what you are going to say
  2. Say it
  3. Tell them what you just told them

 

Sales 101

Then, in the same manner, the '101 of sales' is:

  1. Tell them what you are selling
  2. Show them how your features will benefit them
  3. Ask them to buy your product or service (Call To Action)
